Happy Father's Day!

Well, today is Father's Day and I am due(yet again) for a new post....today seemed like the perfect day. First of all, I have the greatest dad in the whole world! He taught me to play softball and took me fishing for all those years. I wish I could be with him on days like today, but we'll see him soon!
So, here are 5 things about my dad I love:
1. He's hilarious, when he wants to be!
2. He has always taught me by the things he says, but more importantly by the things he does.
3. He's 100 percent honest. I can ask my dad anything and I know it's the truth!
4. He's worked hard for his kids all his life...we are what makes him happy.
5. He always bought the 'girls' in our family flowers for most special occassions and yes, he'll never admit it but he was the one who taught me to shave my legs!
Also, I have a wonderful husband who is a wonderful father! Ryan loves being a dad. Lexie's favorite word is 'dad' right now, which I admit I'm a little jealous....especially since she hangs out with me all day! But, it's okay....Ryan's hard to be mad at because he does such a great job with her. He definitely is the fun guy in the relationship and Lexie knows it.
And here are 5 things I love about Ryan( as a dad):

1. He does everything he physically can(breastfeeding obviously not included) for Lexie. He is definitely an involved type of dad who loves to be there every step of the way.
2. He plays with Lexie everyday and loves it. He always makes her laugh.
3. He's such a proud dad and he loves that Lexie is a daddy's girl. I'm sure our next baby girl will be too.
4. He works hard for all of us everyday and definitely fulfills all our needs and most of our wants. He tries so hard for us and we love him for it.
5. He is so good looking.....thanks to him Lexie has dimples and curly hair!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give my dad or Ryan the best fathers day present like I wanted to. No baby yet...it would have been to make them grandpa and dad again, but soon enough, I hope!

That was such a fun post! You are so much dang fun, for reals...I just love your blog. And I love that you call Lexie "The Destroyer"...that makes sense...though she looks perfectly innocent in the picture that is below that title...I hope you have this baby soon!!! Jeez. You deserve it. Let me know if you need ANYTHING!

Love,
Chels

I keep thinking what 2 will be like, and I dunno about it all! You will be great- I am sure of it! We would love to watch Lexie for you anytime, and please let us come out and bring you dinner! Have your cute husband call us and let us know how we can help! Good luck!
