This morning we went to the store and I told Lexie she could pick out a present. This girl LOVES presents. We literally ran down the aisles, trying to find the perfect thing. I think we put 8 or 9 things in the cart because she couldn't decide. But in the end, this is what we ended up with: A Rapunzel dress-up....this has definitely been the year of the dressups. I hope this stage doesn't ever come to an end! Both the girls LOVE to dress up like the Disney Princesses.

It was very fitting that she chose that dressup because afterward we went to see Tangled. Of course she HAD to dress up for it. And Shay wouldn't be left out so she picked a princess dress up too....Don't they make a darling Rapunzel and Belle?
This was the best part of her birthday....seriously. Lexie LOVES presents and she gets so excited about them.
She got lots of Princess stuff. Like I said, it's the year for the princesses....hope it never ends!

I hope you never stop singing songs to yourself or dancing and skipping all through the house. I hope you always 'read' stories before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning, I hope to always hear you say "Mommy, I awake! Hello!?! Good Morning!" We Love you Lu Lu! You are the best mom ever. That little lady sure got spoiled on her birthday, which is the way it should be!! You've inspired me to kick it up a notch with birthdays!! Poor Tyler didn't get quite the royal treatment Lexie did. :) And seriously Becky this post made me tear up a little. I wish our girls didn't have to grow up. I'm going to miss this. All of it!

btw brody's position at work just changed (which is a good thing! he needed a change!) now he will be working from home with some traveling. (not sure how much traveling yet...) but since we found out i thought of you because i know of any of my friends who can relate to what this is going to be like, you will be able to! so i may be calling you!
