Christmas At the Romney's 2010

We were lucky enough to take two weeks vacation with the Romney's this year.  We started out taking a ride in an airplane, which was almost the highlight of the trip; almost. :) The train ride at Denver Airport was pretty awesome too! 

 Lexie and Shay LOVED Nana and Papa's Trampoline in their backyard.  They begged every single day to jump...so we did:).  Gotta love AZ weather.

 We partied pretty hard....we didn't always find time to nap....Shay couldn't take it anymore on Sunday and crashed before dinner time.  All her cousins wore her out!

 Papa is pretty much amazing.  He let the grandkids jump on his back like he was a donkey and then bucked them off.  They LOVED IT!  He seriously did this for 2 hours!

 Both the girls loved their cousin Payton.  He gave them so much attention.

 I love going to AZ Christmas lights.  It's always a highlight for me when we visit.

 Christmas Eve most of my siblings and their families came over.  We had yummy pasta for dinner and dessert fondue.

 Can't really tell in the picture but the girls honestly loved it.  Who doesn't like marshmallows dipped in chocolate?  And surprisingly both girls loved the pineapple....Shay even got pineapple rash on her tongue she ate so much of it.:)

 Ready in Christmas Jammies.  I love jammies.  And I love my girls hair braided in french braids....thanks Mom! 

 My Mom read the Christmas Story, Where is Baby Jesus.  Here's Shay quiet for a moment--it's very rare.:)

 Santa was very good to us this year...Pretty much knew the girls were going to die!  Couldn't wait to see their faces!

 They were pretty excited!  As you can see!  I love Shay's "OHHHHH!"

 I love this photo.....They hadn't even opened their other presents yet.  They HAD to get dressed up first.  They pretty much wore these for the next four days we were there.

 Christmas morning we go to my Grandma and Grandpa Adairs house for waffles.  Love this picture of Shay with Grandma.

 We did an Ugly Sweater contest this year.  It was a tough choice but in the end Skyler won.  BOOOOOO!  It so should have been Ryan!  hehehe....notice he has my brother Rob on his sweater.  I thought I was so funny for thinking of that....well still do actually!

 Since Lexie's birthday is on January third my Mom always wants to do a little party for her.  We made cupcakes....(Sidenote: Ryan LOVES to brush or play with the girls hair.  I loved that I caught him doing it on camera.  I just think it's so sweet that he is so affectionate with the girls.  He loves them so much.  They are so lucky to have him:))

 Lexie and her cousin Baylee always have such a blast together.  It always makes me really sad when we have to leave because the girls really do have so much fun with all their cousins.

 I could hold this little man ALL DAY LONG!  This is Caleb, Kaitlin's baby.  Isn't he amazingly darling?

 Here we are back in Colorado eating at Cracker Barrel on New Year's Day.

 Gotta start the new year off right!

We felt so blessed this past year!  Had a wonderful Christmas Season.  Miss all our family but are grateful for our wonderful home and friends in Castle Rock.
