General Conference Weekend

We had a great weekend--Sunday Morning we started the day playing (almost naked) in the backyard....seriously, these must be Ryan's Kids--this is so something he would do(Major sarcasm inserted here).....I went in the yard to check on the girlies and check them out--they'd stripped down to their underwear because it was just too hot!  Shay is definitely starting to corrupt Lexie...:)  I just thought it was so funny--and their faces are priceless.  I think Lexie is saying "REally Mommy, Really?"

Shay is saying "Look at my Legs--that's right they're amazing beautiful...Wink"

We forgot to get the mail yesterday, which made today a really fun day--because Nana sent us a Halloween Package!!  UMMMM, I think Lexie was  excited.  They got a DVD....Nana knows they love Max and Ruby;

They got Halloween Pillowcases that Nana made....

Lexie was excited in case you were wondering. :)  They LOVED them Mom...Thank you!

And some coloring books, a table runner for me!, some Reeses pieces for Ryan and Fruit snacks!  We LOVED packages!  Thanks again Nana!

So, since it's a Romney tradition to make pumpkin Chocolate chip cookies on conference, we thought it would be fun to share a few....we took the girls on their first Boo fest.....We packed some cookies on a few plates and doorbell ditched some friends...Here the girls are with Ryan running up to their first door....

Lexie rang the door bell and then freaked out!  It scared her to death that we told her to get running!  It was HILARIOUS!

Even I got to get in on the action--Lexie and I went together to do the last house--Lexie made me do the doorbell this time, but laughed when we ran....I think she thought it was pretty cool.  I think Ryan and I had more fun than the girls did...just seeing their faces was great!
Of course Shay LOVED it.  She loves anything silly and crazy.  We've decided it's going to be a tradition--we had too much fun. There really is nothing better than doing things with your kids--especially around the Holidays....They make it so much better!  Happy Halloween!!!  Welcome Fall and Welcome October!  P.s. We did watch conference....we decided we Love President Uchtdorf.  And yes, the church is definitely still true.  We loved conference. :)
