Lexis has officially discovered the hose. The other day her Dad got out the hose to water a dry spot on the lawn and Lexie thought that was the coolest thing ever. She wasted no time splashing around on the 4th in the water with her cousins Mitt and Major. She had a blast and sure looks cute in her swimsuit and pigtails...
Daddy sure thought it was fun to spray the kids especially since they are not big enough to turn on him and spray him back. One day though... This is Lexie and Major (cousin) playing with the hose. Major was a little more dare-devilish but he does have an older brother to help out there. Now, Lexie is the older sister.
Well, if you are wondering if they go straight through the water, turn left, turn right, or??? Well, keep wondering because that is a secret. (Ryan left the party pretty dry so you decide where they ran from here..)
Well, two things are for sure: 1: this is a cute picture of Ryan and Lexie 2: They both need Tans pretty bad! The good news for Shay is that it appears that she got the Romney coloring. Go Shay.
This is our Family after the Party on the swing in the backyard. It was a great party! We had lots of food, Cheeseburgers, Chips, Fruit, Veggies, and Lemonade. The kids ate hot dogs of course. Shay looks wide awake here huh? The good news about having parties with the kids is that when you get home they go straight to bed. Lexie was so worn out that Ryan just dropped her off in her bed without her usual bottle and she was fast asleep. Shay had a great night too, she woke up twice and went right down to bed after each feeding. We are very grateful that Shay is a better sleeper than Lexie was. It really has been night and day with these two kiddos. They are the greatest though.

You looks so great! The party sounds like it was awesome! Kristin has started palying with the hose too- it is so funny! She soaks herself and gets so mad!
Looks like a fun party! We totally missed you though! Next year you'll have no excuses not to come down for the 4th! I am SO HAPPY Shay is sleeping so well!!!!!!! Haleluia!!!!!!!! See, some babies can be nice ;)
